The following is a list of standard questions and answers:

How many pictures can you take in an hour?
Unlimited number of photographs (1 to 4 people in each typical), taken in the allotted time (avg. 30-40/hr). One print for each person (avg. 100/hr for 4x6 prints), in a stock mat, either plain or antique style. The number of photos taken in an hour will vary depending on a number of factors -- costuming, offering multiple backgrounds, or personalizing each print can slow down the process.

A standard mat is supplied with each print. Special order mats and imprinting is available, for an extra charge.

What size prints can we have?
The standard print sizes are 4x6 and 5x7. Other sizes are available include 3-1/2x5 and 6x8. Baseball cards (2-1/2 x 3-1/2) can be printed 2 or 4 on a sheet. The client chooses the size of the print and the mat style prior to the event. If they are interested in additioinal prints in other sizes after the event we can do that, too.

What about color choices?
All photos are taken in full color. The other versions, black and white, sepia and antique color, are produced automatically by our professional event software as they are sent to the printer. (Antique color is sometimes called “touch of color,” a subtle version of full color.)

What kind of costumes do you have?
Our costume collection generally covers the period from the 1860s (Civil War/Old South) through the 1920s (Jazz Age Flappers/Prohibition Gangsters). We also have pirate costumes and a few colonial style. We frequently add costumes to our collection, usually driven by demand.

Many costumes cross over time periods. Accessories tell the story -- we have lots of fancy hats and feather boas, cowboy hats, a top hat, guns with holsters, a tommy gun, a pirate’s sword, eye patches, and many others...

Do you have costumes to fit everyone?
We have a variety of sizes, including some for children. Most costumes are open in the back and slip on easily over clothing. Some of the dresses are off the shoulder, but street clothes may often be covered with a feather boa or shawl. Occasionally a woman may want to remove her blouse. We have a portable changing room if desired, although many times they just slip behind our green screen to change.

What backgrounds do you have?
Our supply of digital backgrounds is extensive. We are also happy to search for additional backgrounds if you have a special request. If you have a graphic or photo that you would like to use, we can do that, too.
Can we have more than one background?

While it is possible, it is not recommended for large parties, since it can slow down the processing speed. It is best to limit your choices to no more than two per event.

Do you have to use your green screen, can you take pictures with our set?
Photos may be taken in a natural setting, in front of physical set or using a green screen with a Chroma Key digital background. If you have a set or are thinking of having a set built we will be happy to work with you. If you need assistance with other services, please let us know. We can direct you to other reliable event services.

Can we have our logo on the mat or the print?
We can add your logo and/or a line of text to your prints at no extra charge. Mats and folders can be personalized with your logo foil stamped or printed with one or more colors. Ask for a quote.

Custom logo overlays and/or digital backgrounds such as special magazine cover formats are priced on complexity.

What if we want additional prints?
Your photos will be posted on our web site fro viewing after the event. Additional prints may be ordered at any time. We can also supply the web gallery on CD if you would like to post theme on your own site or intranet.

How long does it take to set up?
It usually takes an hour or less to set up. We prefer to come 1-1/2 hours before your event to set up and take some test prints.

What are your payment terms?
We require 50% with the contract signing and 50% at set up.

Please let us know if you have any more questions and we’ll add them! Questions?
